A Cloisonné Enamel Taisho Period Ginbari Vase

This tapering vase with pinched neck and everted lip has the seal mark of Ando, early 20th century, Taisho period. On a background of 'Akasuke' pidgeon blood red over stippled silver foil with patterns of iris and other fowering plants is enamelled white wisteria with green leaves that extends from the base to the top of the vase. The clear mark of Ando is seen on the base.
