The Crux Gemmata (latin for jewelled cross) earrings are pure opulence for your ears.
Beautifully handcrafted in 18kt yellow gold, each cross is delicately formed with scrolls and fleurs de lis resembling fine open filigree work.
Striking 18kt rose gold solar rays beam from two gorgeous 5.3mm round brilliant cut Tsavorite Garnets.
Four crisp 1.5mm princess cut white diamonds encircle each central garnet (eight in total at 1.5 pts or 0.015 cts each).
Also adorning each cross are three (six in total) crystal clear white diamond briolettes hanging from platinum jump-rings.
Capturing their delightful movement, the photos are slightly blurred and do not do these briolettes justice.
Colour is F/G, clarity VS/SI, two larger briolettes 0.3cts each, four smaller briolettes 0.15cts each.
Measuring 56mm in length from the top of the ear hook to the bottom of the diamond briolette (or 44mm from the top of each cross to the bottom of the briolette), the crosses are 29.3mm at their widest point with a depth of 3.9mm.
Each earring weighs 6.14 grams (total weight 12.3 grams), and features 0.8mm wide ear wires.
