These exquisite French 18ct yellow gold tassel earrings were made circa 1870 and are a rare and exceptional find. They feature a remarkable 17 strands of fine gold chains, creating a luxurious cascade of elegance. The long shepherd hooks are adorned with delicate floral accents. Each drop is set with three square cut rubies, and they bear a clear French mark on the connecting ring. Earrings with 17 strands are a rarity and these earrings are in perfect condition.
