A classic three stone composition, this vintage ring centres on a round Burmese ruby with an estimated weight of 1.41ct, of intense deep red colour. Burmese rubies are widely regarded as among the finest of their origin, and the colour of this example — rich and saturated — reflects that reputation well. The stone is claw set in white gold, as are the white gold underbezels throughout, giving the setting a clean, cool contrast against the warm yellow gold of the band. To either side sit old mine cut diamonds, estimated at 0.70ct in total, graded colour J and clarity P1. Their soft, warm sparkle and gently rounded silhouette are characteristic of the old mine cut.
