This handmade anchor & rope brooch has lovely heft and looks smart on a blazer lapel, beret or even as a scarf pin. For a handmade piece it is beautifully balanced, with the well matched and graduated pearls adding to the seafarers theme. Stamps on the back indicate the piece was made in Melbourne by Henry Newman, circa 1880.
