Belle Époque 14ct Gold & Palladium Diamond & Pearl Pendant

$3,850.00

A fine example of Edwardian design in the form of a rose window. The tracery radiating outward in a lattice of platinum-family metal, set throughout with old-cut diamonds. At its centre sits a pearl, held within the openwork surround.

The piece is crafted in palladium over 14ct gold, a combination consistent with the era's transition away from silver-topped settings toward the whiter, more stable platinum-group metals — palladium offering the same cool tone without the weight or cost of platinum itself.

Suspended from a trace chain and finished with a barrel clasp, the pendant sits with the quiet formality typical of Belle Époque jewels — made for evening wear, but restrained rather than showy.
