Of tapering form with a rectangular pinched base, one side is hot poker etched with scenes of rockery, trees and a pagoda, the other side a stork around a pond with trees and rockery. The artist has utilised the natural grain of the timber to enhance the effect of the pond. The stopper has a lacquered square top with a bone spoon and is missing the cork to secure it into the bottle. Condition is good, with some minor loss of lacquer. Late 19th/early 20th century.
