An antique sterling silver wide cuff/bangle, hallmarked Birmingham, 1882, featuring an applied gold cartouche of roses set against an engraved checkerboard background, the top with shotted edge. The contrast between the crisp geometric engraving and the raised floral cartouche gives the piece real tactile depth. Tongue and groove clasp and fitted safety chain. Lovely condition.
